The General Hospital of Chania is one of the largest in Greece. Located in Mournies, on the outskirts of the city of Chania and has medical departments in the field of Internal Medicine,Surgical and Laboratory departments, covering numerous specialties.

Apart from the hospital, in the region of Chania you will find three health centers in Kissamos, in Vamos Apokornou and in Kantanos-Selinou. Regional clinics can be also found in many villages throughout the region, even on Gavdos.
