Chania - Various Items

Chania, being a large town, could not but have a rich market with every type of stores. Its center being the historical building of the Municipal Market of Chania, that hosts itself many stores, in the streets surrounding it you will find everything you need: from stores with designer clothes to supermarkets, grocery stores, flower shops etc. The opening hours are the same as everywhere in Greece.

In the narrow streets of the Old Town of Chania you will find numerous souvenir and gift shops, jewelry and accessories stores, with stylish and unique products that give another meaning to the term "souvenir". Here, the market has different, "touristic" opening hours: shops during the summer season stay open until late at night and seven days a week.

Apart from the town of Chania, you will find markets with many shops in all the other cities and towns of the region, as well as at all the touristic places. For example, the market in Kissamos, where the shops are on the coastal road, in Sfakia there are many shops in the Chora Sfakion, in Vamos you will find a self-sufficient market, while in Paleochora and Kandanos there is a large variety of products available. Finally in Platanias, at its large and popular beach, there are dozens of tourist shops.
