Keratides

To the east of Paleochora village, on the southwestern coast of Crete, at a distance of 70 km from Chania, lies the beach Keratides.

It has large pebbles and not organized, so it is suitable for those who want peace of mind. Keratides is next to the beach Votsala which is closer to Paleochora, and from there you can easily get what you need.

The name Keratides comes from carob trees (Keratides), which cover the region. Next to the beach you will find an organized camping where you can camp.

If you do not like the pebbles you can swim on the sandy Pachia Ammos, located on the west side of the village, in the opposite direction from Keratides.
