Afra

Afra is a beautiful village, relatively close to the city  of Corfu and built along the top of a smooth range of hills above the Prairie of Ropas. Bridges made of stone, old ruined mansions, with dominant the Kourkoumelis mansion, abandoned today, create the atmosphere of the lords of the 17th and 18th century who lived in this region.

Afra is surrounded by a verdant environment and its advantage is that it is built approximately in the center of the inland, with access to the beaches towards the western and eastern shores: In Glyfada  and Kontogialos on one side and in Dassia  and Ypsos on the other. They are all a few kilometers away from Afra.
