Beach of Agia Paraskevi
The beach of Agia Paraskevi is located approximately 14 kilometers west of the capital city of Alexandroupolis , Evros, near the seaside resort of Makri , with the homonymous famous beach . On the beach of Agia Paraskevi, the visitor finds what may be necessary as it is organized with parasols and sun beds, while there are cafes – bar offering to swimmers coffee, refreshing drinks and light food.
The beach of Agia Paraskevi is from the sandy beaches of Evros and considered “secular” beach, as it attracts crowds from the capital, who prefer it for its clear blue waters and of course because of the access to it is easy and fast even by the city center.
The sandy beach of Agia Paraskevi is not huge in length, but it is wide and has thick, blond and fine sand.
It was named by the homonymous chapel, dedicated to Agia Paraskevi near and where a festival is organized every year on 26th of July, the day of its celebration.
