Agioi Pantes

Agioi Pantes is the main seaside resort of Phocis for those who want to have a relaxing holiday with lazy dips in the Corinthian Gulf.

It is a small coastal village located 12 km from Galaxidi.

The village got its name from the Agioi Pantes, the homonym Cathedral temple, along with the churches of Agios Georgios, Agiwn Anargirwn, Agios Ioannis and the Assumption adorn the area.

The previous name of Agioi Pantes was “Vidavi” by the name of the chieftain Ilias Vidaviotis, who died in the battles of the Struggle for Liberation in 1821.

Agioi Pantes consists of three settlements, the East, the West and the waterfront.

The visitors will find there taverns, grills, cafes, hotels and hostels while at the port of the village dock fishing boats, boats and many speed boats.

At a short distance of Agioi Pantes is, finally, the historical monastery of Panagia Varnakova, a Byzantine church built inside a cave.
