Euanthia Kairi Theater

Its name was given to it in honor of the early feminist and Greek author Euanthia Kairi, born in 1799 in Andros island, sister of Theophilos Kairis, well-known Greek philosopher, revolutionary and “Teacher of the Nation”. Euanthia Kairi lived in Hermoupolis from 1824 till 1839 and was the first to establish a local troupe on the island.
