European Cultural Centre of Delphi

The “soul” of the cultural events and educational activities at Delphi today is the European Cultural Centre of Delphi. It was founded in 1977 with the aim of disseminating and developing humanitarian values ​​that profess Delphi.

Major theatrical and musical festivals, scientific conferences, symposia, educational seminars, book publications and activities not only raise, but create, produce the culture and addressed not only to Greek but to the global audience and make the European Cultural Centre of Delphi a benchmark for the cultural life of Greece.

The central administrative offices are located in Athens and Plaka, but in Delphi it is really the heart of the European Cultural Centre of Delphi: the modern building and the new theater, “Frynichos”, where is the heart of events during the summer months, located near to the archaeological site of Delphi.

In the pine grove of the European Cultural Centre of Delphi is situated the Sculpture Park with modern artwork of great artists. It is essentially an innovative, outdoor gallery, where the guests enjoy the art in nature.
