Fresh fruits and vegetables – Diakrousis

The first steps of Diakrousis family in commerce started in 1932, when they daily produced fresh vegetables in the Krania region and took them to the vegetable market of Argostoli. The family was poor and the children learned the profession from an early age so as to contribute to the family budget.

After 48 years, in 1980, the family was given the opportunity to acquire a small shop – Fresh fruits and vegetables – Diakrousis – in the vegetable market of Argostoli. Then the family began to produce larger quantities of vegetables to serve the needs of its new venture.

The next steps of Fresh fruits and vegetables – Diakrousis were increasingly large-scale, as they dynamically entered the fruit sector. In 1986 the family made an expansion of the store and increased the variety of their products. In 1994 Panagis Diakrousis transferred the company to his children. In 2010 Fresh fruits and vegetables – Diakrousis was able to move to a really comfortable place that has all kinds of fruit and vegetables for a simple or not so simple cuisine.
