Since 1945, the Kalafatis Restaurant by Eruing  has its own history in Kefalonia having its reputation to precede its name. This is because it is the first restaurant of Kefalonia and one of the first in Greece, created by Elias and Fotini Kalafatis. Now the third generation of the family is in charge with Elias Kalafatis being head of the restaurant.
