Museum of Natural History of Kefalonia and Ithaca

The museum does not operate in the last few years due to lack of staff.

The plants and animals of Kefalonia and Ithaca , from the smallest to the tallest tree, insects, unique wild horses of Enos, the natural park of the mountain, the unique spruce, fish and aquatic organisms composing the flora and fauna of the two islands. You will learn a lot of information about all these with a visit to the Museum of Natural History of Kefalonia and Ithaca in Davgata . The museum includes laboratory, environmental education center and of course a rich collection of specimens of local flora and fauna. Winter hours: October 1st – May 31st, Monday – Friday : 9:00 to 15:00, Saturday / Sunday: closed.

Summer hours: June 1st – September 30th, Daily: 9:00 to 15:00
