Achladochori

Achladochori is one of the villages that belongs to the municipality of Messini and is located near the sea and 35 kilometers away from the city of Kalamata. The 130 residents of Achladochori are occupied with farming and tourism. The village is built at an altitude of 269 meters above sea level.

Visitors will find in the village, the church of Saint Georgios and the church of Agia Paraskevi with the unique fresco of Death.

Achladochori is just three and a half kilometers away from the beach of Kalamaki. The coast attracts tourists because the beach is dominated by the rusty wreck of an old ship. Achladochori is just 9 km away from Petalidi and there you will find cafes, restaurants and shops, while the beach of Chranoi is at a distance of 10 minutes by car.
