Finikouda beach

Finikouda beach is located exactly in front of the village of Finikouda in the southern part of the prefecture of Messinia. Opposite Finikounda beach you can the islet of Schiza, the largest one of the chain of the Messinian Oinouses.

It is awarded with the Blue Flag for its cleanliness, is sanded and has clean, turquoise waters, warm without great depth and is an ideal destination for families with young children.

On Finikouda beach you can spend your whole day. From the morning, starting with a cool coffee, and then tasting Greek cuisine in traditional restaurants that stretch along the beach, but you can also enjoy your afternoon stroll, as it is the busiest place of the area.

On Finikouda beach you will find some organized parts with parasols and sun beds. As it is located inside the settlement, you will find everything you need very close. The beach is almost always full of people, as the locals prefer it.

The access to Finikouda beach is quite easy in the morning, as there are municipal parking lots where you can leave your car freely.
