Waterfalls of Stromi

The brash Waterfall of Stromis is situates 1,5km outside of the homonym village, on the provincial road which leads to the neighboring villages Panourgias and Oinochori. It is situated at an altitude of 900 meters on the slopes of Gkiona, into the firs, in a landscape of unique natural beauty. It is also known as Kremasis Waterfall.

The waters of the Waterfall of Stromi end and feed Morno, the river that supplies with water the capital of Greece but also many villages of the area. The passengers stop to admire the natural landscape. There is no human intervention, though it is situated closed to the provincial road, it looks completely isolated from the civilization.

Except from this Waterfall, near the village, which is one of the most picturesque of Gkiona, built like nest on its slope, the visitors can reach on foot in the Cave of Englishmen, with the famous history of Greek resistance. The area is also plenty of sights of nature that attract the interest.
