Adeiata

Adeiata is a small village in the hinterland, in the south of the island of Syros. It belongs to the Municipality of Posidonia and has about 90 permanent residents.

The white Cycladic houses of the settlement of Adeiata are built over from the provincial road of Syros that connects Posidonia, one of the most important tourist resorts of Syros, known as Ntellagkratsia, with the also summer resort Chroussa, which is built into green.

The houses in the small settlement of Adeiata are built at an altitude of 142 meters above sea level and have a beautiful view. Just outside of the village, down the road, is built a small chapel dedicated from the worshippers to St. Markella. It is stone built, clear and has integrated his little bell.

Adeiata are from the capital of Syros, Ermoupoli approximately 9 kilometers and located between the village of Vissa and Posidonia.
