Apostolis Restaurant

At the old Venetian Port in Chania there is a number of restaurants and fish taverns you can chose from. There, right next to the sea, you will also find Apostolis Restaurant, that has been offering its visitors high quality food since 1978!

Apostolis Restaurant has two taverns, infamous in the whole of Crete. They offer fresh fish and sea food, delicious appetizers and a great variety of dishes made with fresh and local ingredients. The appetizers include kaltosunia, a traditional dish and fresh sea urchins. The taverns also offer special dishes, such as stuffed aubergines, fresh beans in red sauce, rabbit stew, fava, moussaka, pastitsio and a great variety of pasta. Their specialties however are pasta with lobster, kakavia, which is a local soup with seafood, stuffed squid, shrimps and various clams.

At Apostolis Restaurant they pay great attention to desserts. They are all freshly made by the owner and they include fried cheese with honey, kaltsounia with honey etc. They also offer a great variety of meat dishes from which you can choose from, such as ribs, steaks, meat balls and the infamous souvlaki.

The venue of Apostolos Restaurant is 300 square meters big and can service up to 240 people at the same time. It is a beautiful venue that is located by the sea. There you can organize events, weddings and christenings. The restaurant is open all year round and is a great choice for special occasions.
