Klimata

Between Plakias and Rodakino, 45 km to the south from the Rethymno city, there is a huge bay consisting of three secluded sea shores of the Rethymno prefecture, the Klimata.

 Klimata beaches took their name from the grapevines that were very common in this region in the past.

Covered by fine pebbles and rocks, with clear deep waters, Klimata beaches are mostly preferred by the nudists. The visitors should note that the beaches are not organized.

From the first beach of Klimata and the most western part of the group, you can follow the dirt-road till you reach the Korakas beach. The other two beaches are more isolated and can be easily accessed on foot from the first beach.
