Koumpes beach

The Koumpes beach is located in Rethymno prefecture  and lies approximately 2 km from the Rethymno city.

 Koumpes beach is located on the northern side of the county and gets affected by “meltemia” in August. This is a sandy beach awarded many times with the Blue Flag.

The Koumpes beach can be accessed by car from Rethymno city or on foot after a 20 minutes’ walk from the city center.
