Mikro Ammoudi

Mikro Ammoudi beach lies to the east of the Damnoni beach, approximately 32 km from the Rethymno city and 4 km from Plakias of the Rethymno prefecture.

Following the road towards east, the first beach to be found is the Mikro Ammoudi or else Ammoudaki.

Mikro Ammoudi consists of two tiny bays. It is the smallest beach of the three that this area can offer and it is hidden between two oblong rocks. White-sanded coast is washed by aquamarine cold waters and is widely preferred by the nudists.

To the west of Mikro Ammoudi there is a cave with incredible blue colors. On the east side of the beach you can find a passing-through hole in the water that connects Mikro Ammoudi with Kleisidi beach. The two beaches are one dive away.

The beach of Mikro Ammoudi is not organized, but there is a canteen that offers umbrellas as well.

Mikro Ammoudi can be reached on foot from Ammoudi.
