Peukias

Peukias is a beach of Rethymno prefecture that lies 43 km to the south of Rethymno, between Plakias settlement and Rodakino.

The Peukias beach or Agia Anna beach is small, totally isolated beach with deep crystal clear waters covered with rocks. This beach is recommended for the fishing-lovers.

Along with the wild beauty of Peukias beach, there are few more beaches alike in this region, which can be accessed by foot or by boat.

You can reach Peukias beach by car through Plakias. Alternatively, you can follow the dirt-road that connects the Souda beach and the Rodakino, though this path is considered adventurous, but difficult to hike.
