Anidri

The beach Anidri is a large isolated beach, located three kilometers east of Paleochora and 80 km away from the city of Chania. The beach is covered with pebbles and crystal clear deep waters. The views of the Libyan Sea will leave you speechless.

On the beach Anidri you will see scattered rocks but you will also find umbrellas and sun beds. The landscape is dry with low vegetation.

To get to the beach Anidri you have to follow the dirt road that starts from the coastal road of Paleochora. If it is not too hot, you can walk these three kilometers.

The road from Paleochora to the village Anidri offers spectacular views of the sea, valleys and small gorges and it is a wonderful choice for wandering around. If you go to the village remember to visit its very interesting Byzantine churches.
