Keramoti

Keramoti is a village, located 75 km southwest of Chania and 36 km south of Kissamos, at an altitude of 421 meters above sea level.

A dirt road leads the visitors of Keramoti from the settlement to the beach Keramoti, but because it is rocky one should have an appropriate vehicle to traverse it.

The large beach Keramoti has pebbles and stones and remains virtually unknown to visitors, since it is the choice mainly of the locals. It is not organized and about this reason before you get there you have to get what you need from Keramoti.

On the beach, there is a clump of reeds, beside of which runs continuously frozen fresh water, which springs from the surrounding mountains. The water is cold and the sea there is a significantly lower temperature than the surrounding areas.

In the village Keramoti, the visitors can find taverns and rental rooms to stay.
