Sfinari

Sfinari is located 60 km west of Chania and 30 km south of Kissamos. The village is situated at the exit of a green valley at the foot of the mountain Koutrouli and extends to the beach.

Silence is one of the basic advantages of this untouched place. Sfinari is an ideal destination for family holidays.

The local population – about 150 residents – dealing with oil production, animal husbandry, fishery, apiculture and during the summer months with tourism, which is why traditional foods in Sfinari are always made ​​with the best materials, all of which are produced there.

Near the village, you will find the sandy Sfinari. It is one of the few quiet and beautiful beaches on the western coastline of Crete which is particularly preferred for those, who want to relax away from the crowds.

In Sfinari, there are several accommodation and catering facilities and the beach is ideal especially when is blowing from the west.
