Exogi – Rusano – Kalyvia – Poli/Stavros

The beginning of the path Exogi – Rusano – Kalyvia – Poli/Stavros lies on the road to Exogi, marked with the wooden sign “C”. Yellow marks will take you to Rusano, where the locals from Exogi have their residencies. The view towards the bay of Afales and almost all of northern Ithaca is breathtaking. At the big plateau of Rusano, where you can already enjoy the view of Poli, you will reach a crossroad: to your right is the view of Kefalonia and the Ionian sea – you will go to the left, following the yellow marks, passing from where the castle used to stand, from Kalyvia, ending up at the dirt road. Here you have two choices: going right will take you to the beach of Poli, whereas going left will lead you to the main village of northern Ithaca, Stavros.
