Agios Antonios

The beach of Agios Antonios is located in a quiet bay just 2,5 kilometers east of Sougia. The surrounding area is called Harei which is what the beach is sometimes called by the locals.

The beach of Agios Antonios has mostly rocks and pebbles, while there are many pine trees and wild vegetation. Agios Antonios is ideal for those who like camping, fishing, looking at the beautiful seabed and enjoying nature naked.

The beach of Agios Antonios is located 68 km southwest of Chania and is not organized. So everything you need, you must have it with you.

Access to the beach is possible by boat. If you are willing to walk for two hours, you can get there through the E4 path from Sougia to Agia Roumeli.

The church of Agios Antonios is located next to the coast and celebrates on 2 July and this is the only day you will see people on the beach. If you are in the area, follow the visitors who arrive by boat and spend the night outdoors.
