Damiali

Just a half mile at northwest of Kissamos you will find the small beach, Damiali. It is a small cove with pebbles among rocks with deep clear waters. It took its name from the church of Saint Ioannis the Damialis that you can see from the other side of the road, built into the rock.

The beach of Damialis is protected from the winds, and is just off the coastal road connecting Kissamos with Platanos.

A small footpath from the church, which passes under the road, as a tunnel leads to the coast. There you will find crystal clear, deep waters, imposing rocks and a few trees that offer shade.

But you should have with you what may need as the beach of Damiali is not organized. On the coast you will find a diving board that you can use again and again for your dives.
