Iligas

The beach of Iligas is very close to the town of Sfakia. You can get to the beach either by car or even on foot. Iligas beach is actually divided in two, but to get to the second part, which is smaller, you will need to get a boat or swim a relatively short distance, but only for good swimmers.

The blue waters of Iligas will tempt you. The coast of the two beaches has small pebbles, but big Iligas has umbrellas for shade and a tavern, which also offers rooms for those who prefer to stay here and enjoy their holidays on the beach.

The majestic cliffs, the rough arid landscape of Sfakia and a cave formed in the middle of the beach compose the natural scenery in Iligas – with the crystal clear blue sea stealing the show.
