Livadia

The seaside village Livadia is located 72 km southwest of Chania and 31 km south of Kissamos. The village lies in the middle of the hiking path E4 – of the part Kampos – Elafonisi.

In the village of Livadia, buying food is still done by the traditional way. You can buy fish from the fishermen in the small harbor, vegetables, dairy products and meat from local farmers. There is Mini market only in the neighboring village Kefali and larger supermarkets in the villages of Platanos and Kissamos. Gas Station exists in the village of Elos located at a distance of 11 kilometers of Livadia.

Next to the village, there are several small but excellent beaches. To get there, you walk east of Livadia and will pass behind the imposing towering black rocks adjacent to the harbor area. The beaches are close to the old coastal road that links Kissamos with Chrissoskalitissa.

In Livadia, there are rooms for rent to stay and restaurants to eat.
