Tou Meri to Pigadi

The beautiful coast Tou Meri to Pigadi is located eight kilometers northwest of Kissamos and 44 km west of the city of Chania, on the eastern side of the Cape of Gramvoussa.

The beach of Tou Meri to Pigadi is divided into three consecutive bays. The coasts have small pebbles and a few trees, where you can find shade. The water is deep and blue, ideal for swimming.

There is no infrastructure next to the three bays at Tou Meri to Pigadi, which are all protected from the wind, so you should have with you what you need. The area is the perfect place to relax away from the hubbub of the city.

To get to Tou Meri to Pigadi, you have to walk or drive for a kilometer through the dirt road that starts from Kalyviani and leads to the lagoon of Balos.

The area is named probably after someone who once had a well there (Tou Meri to Pigadi – The Well of Meri).
