Agios Ioannis Peristeron

Agios Ioannis Peristeron is situated in the south-eastern side of the island, built along the main seaside road and below the high slopes filled with olive trees. Agios Ioannis Peristeron is not exactly a resort. It offers quite a few touristy lodgings, mostly rentable rooms and very few hotels, some taverns and small bars. It is a tranquil destination which is mostly preferred by families due to its relatively calm and warm sea.

Agios Ioannis Peristeron beach  is awarded with the Blue Flag and some of its parts are organized with parasols and deck-chairs. This beach is also preferred by many locals with children. You can also engage in sea sports there and you can go on small sea excursions in the surrounding beaches.

In Benitses  towards the north and in Moraitika  towards the south, which are a few kilometers away from Agios Ioannis Peristeron, you will find many shops, taverns, restaurants and small bars as both these villages are large touristy destinations.
