Monastery of Agia Kyriaki in Kouramades
The Monastery of Agia Kyriaki in Kouramades was founded in 1992 and is the newest monastery of Corfu. It is situated in the village of Kouramades in Middle Corfu and is celebrated twice a year, on the 7th of July, the day of Agia Kyriaki and on the 24th of August, the day of Agios Kosmas Aitolos.
The Sanctuary of the Monastery of Agia Kyriaki in Kouramades is of basilica rhythm with a dome. Around the Sanctuary are the cells, the guest quarters, the library, the dining room and other facilities.
The old chapel of Agia Kyriaki, which was located in the courtyard of the Monastery of Agia Kyriaki in Kouramades, completely collapsed in 1995.
