Moraitika beach

Moraitika beach is a quite famous beach as it is located below the big village Moraitika  which is a large resort of the region. Moraitika beach is mainly composed of sand and pebbles and its shallow, warm waters are ideal for young and old. The area is also protected from winds which makes swimming relaxing and safe. The trees on the back side of the beach offer some natural shade but, you can also find deck-chairs and parasols on the biggest part of the beach.

In Moraitika beach there is the possibility to engage in sea sports and take diving lessons. Next to the beach you will find various bars and taverns which serve snacks, full-course meals, coffees and refreshments. In Moraitika there are, among other things, some of the best, fish taverns of the island which are worth visiting.

In Moraitika beach, on its southern part, flows the Messonghi river  which is the natural border with the neighboring Messonghi beach.
