Skinos – Gidaki

Skinos beach at Ithaca is accessible by car. The road is paved up until the first beach of the bay, Mnimata, and from there you can reach Skinos by taking the dirt road. At Skinos beach, the pines come all the way down to the sea, giving it a mesmerizing green hue. From the edge of the beach starts the path to Gidaki, which according to many is the best beach of the island. The path starts uphill, but it is not too tiring, and when you reach the top, you will be rewarded with an amazing bird’s eye view of Gidaki.
