Kaminarata

The “Balcony of Palliki” is Kaminarata, a village of about 200 residents. It is located at an altitude of 349 meters above sea level and is built in amphitheater so that overlooks the entire Palliki, the plain to Lixouri, and opposite Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia and Enos, the great mountain of the island.

The area of Kaminarata is overgrown with olives, pine and walnut. Among them, the bright red rooftops compose a colorful canvas in the landscape of Kefalonia.
