Bouka

Bouka beach is located in the mouth of the river of Lefkimmi  where, the river enters into the sea. This is why it is called Bouka (meaning the entrance). It is a small, sandy beach, not very touristy where, there is a public refreshment spot and a few parasols and deck-chairs for hire. Bouka beach is characterized by the vegetation in its back side which offers shade to the bathers.

This beach is mainly preferred by the residents of Lefkimmi as it is very close to the city. In Bouka, with its shallow waters and its fine sand, you can mostly see families with their children. In order to get here from the center of Lefkimmi, you must follow the road along the river. Your car can get as far as the beach.
