Gavrades

Gavrades is a small village in the north-western part of the island, «nestled» in dense vegetation. Gavrades is built at an altitude of 110 meters, on a narrow provincial road. There are a few houses in the village, all of them well presented with blossoming yards. The nearest large village is Agros  where, the shops and services are gathered because, until recently, it was the seat of the Municipality of Agios Georgios.

From Gavrades you can visit the beautiful beaches of the northern part such as the famous Channel of Love , Loggas beach and the cape of Drastis . Sidari, which is a large touristy and commercial center of the region, is about 7 kilometers away from Gavrades.
