Ai Gordis beach

Ai Gordis beach is one of the most famous among the locals and the tourists because of its amazing, natural environment. It is nestled in the roots of a verdant mountain and is surrounded by olive trees which end up to the homonymous settlement and to the sea. The rock standing out in the southern side of the sea, Ortholithi or Megalo Tholeto is what makes Ai Gordis beach special.

Ai Gordis beach is awarded with the Blue Flag. It has got shallow, deep blue waters and a long and wide golden, sandy shore. Above the beach you will find many restaurants, beach bars but, also rooms to rent overlooking the sea. It also provides parasols and deck-chairs, a lifeguard, as well as the possibility to engage in sea sports, diving and renting boats. Ai Gordis beach is popular to those who like gliding. They glide from the top of the mountain at an altitude of 370 meters and land on the sea.

From Ai Gordis beach you can enjoy watching a lovely sunset into the sea. Access is easy as it is only 16 kilometers from the city of Corfu. Buses from the station (KTEL)  have regular, daily schedules while in the village there is also a taxi  stand.
