Perivoli

Perivoli is located in the southern end of the island, in its narrowest part and is surrounded by two seas, the Ionian in the east and the Adriatic in the west. Perivoli is an old, traditional village with typical architecture in the houses and the churches, such as the church of Agioi Saranta of the 17th century with its beautiful murals and also the Church of Agios Athanassios.

Perivoli is a famous fishing village and has a small port where, the fishing boats anchor. Besides fishing, its inhabitants are also occupied with tourism which has developed in the region in recent decades. Very close to the settlement is situated the beach of Kalyvioti which overlooks upon the continental shores, while on the other side you can swim in the beach called Malta or Agia Varvara  which is a continuation of the beach of Marathias  and has mini markets, restaurants and rentable rooms for tranquil holidays.

Perivoli is only 4 kilometers away from Lefkimmi  and its port, while it is about 35 kilometers away from the city of Corfu.
