Platakia beach

Platakia beach in Palaiokastritsa is a small, quite tranquil beach which is found between Alypa beach  and Agia Triada beach. It is covered with gravel and its waters are turquoise and quite cold. Platakia beach is ideal during the hottest days of the summer as its small hills on the back side of the beach offer natural shade. This beach is also ideal for fishing because of its tranquility.

In Platakia beach you can rent parasols and deck-chairs. There is also the possibility to rent a small boat in order to go on a tour to the rest of the beaches in Palaiokastritsa, to the small isolated bays and the numerous caves along the coastline. Above the beach there are some rooms to let and hotels.
