Agios Konstantinos – Armeni

The E4 route Agios Konstantinos – Armeni is 15 km long and its estimated time is 5 hours.

The route offers the opportunity to go directly to Kalonichtis by a footpath or to bypass towards Roustika by country roads. The route is spectacular, especially at the part of crossing a tributary of Petres. The path to Monopari goes through a verdant landscape. The distant and the nearby views, to the east, towards Psiloritis, and to the west, towards Lefka Oroi (White Mountains) will impress every visitor. The cirque of Armeni, where the homonymous Minoan Necropolis lies, is worth seeing, as well as the remaining oak tree forests.

An ideal season to hike the route Agios Konstantinos – Armeni is winter. This is an easy path to hike, but it gets difficult at the stream of Kalonichtis.
