Vistonas

Vistonas is a small, picturesque village near Palaiokastritsa  at an altitude of about 360 meters in the western slopes of the mountain Istoni from which it was named after. Vistonas is a place, which has remained intact in time, with its traditional houses made of stone and its picturesque alleys. In the center of Vistonas dominates the church of Agios Christoforos, with its distinctive architecture and its rich interior decoration.

Very close to Vistonas are also located the very beautiful villages Krini, Makrades, Lakones and Palaiokastritsa. The significant sight of the region is Aggelokastro, the Byzantine fortress of the 13^th century at the top of a hill with a panoramic view of the whole sea area.
